- on tone curve panel, set curve to strong contrast
- selected the adjustment brush (K), feather at 75
- set contrast to -32, highlights -23, shadows +32, clarity -5
- used brush in foreground & tress in either side of castle
- with adjustment brush still selected, changed feather to 61 and highlights to +72
- applied to the sky and castle shadows

- on basic panel, set exposure to -.25, contrast +42, whites +57, blacks -44, clarity +53
- on tone curve panel, set a custom curve
- moved point in shadows to the right (61 input, 39 output), highlights to the right and down (203 input, 181 output), midtones to right and down (143 input, 106 output)
- selected adjustment brush, feathered 75
- set contrast to +71, clarity -5, shadows -47
- applied brush over entire photo, but then went back and erased over the bush in upper right corner and the interior of the boats
